DGO 153 Series Connectors
The 153 series fiber-optic connectors for use in hostile environments, now includes a miniature single-channel connectors. Capable of operating at 10,000 psig (22,000 ft. deep), this connector set as been designed to accommodate multimode fiber sizes 50/125µ or 62.5/125µ or single-mode fiber size 9/125µ. This plug is provided with accommodations for mechanical strength terminations.
The receptacle can withstand 10,000 psig open face to provide system integrity in the event of interface flooding. Configurations are available for bulkhead mounting, weld or in-line (form cable to cable applications).
The connectors can be provided in a variety of materials including stainless steel (standard), titanium, Hastelloy, Monel and beryllium-copper. The connectors measures 7/8" over the hex coupling ring and features redundant o-rings for maximum operational reliability.
Average insertion loss is less than 0.5 dB at 1300 nm for each plug/receptacle interface. Operating temperature range is -50ºF to +160ºF (-45ºC to + 71ºC).
Because a fiber optic connector is only as good as the quality of the termination, Teledyne D.G.O’Brien does not supply discreet connectors, we only provide Fiber Optic cable assemblies. As always, these complete fiber optic connection solutions will be shipped fully tested and guaranteed to meet your optical transmission requirements.
